Privacy notice

This notice covers the backstreamai.com website and the enquiries we receive through it or by email. Data processed while we provide services to our clients is governed by the contract with them and by our General Terms and Conditions.

Under Article 37 GDPR we are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one. You can reach us about data protection at the email address above.
2. What we process, why, and on what legal basis

We currently use no analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them, we will do so only with your prior consent and will update this notice first.

4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Resend, which delivers the form messages, operates in the United States. Transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, which are part of Resend's data processing addendum.
The website is hosted in the European Union. Google's data processing terms also cover any access by Google from outside the EEA.
5. Security
- The website is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Access keys are kept in a secret store, never in the source code.
- Only the people on our team who handle enquiries can read incoming messages.
6. Your rights
- You can ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- You can ask us to erase your data or restrict its processing.
- You can ask for your data in a machine-readable format (portability).
- You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
Send your request to contact@backstreamai.com. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest; in justified cases this can be extended by two months, and we will tell you if it is.
7. Complaints
If you think we have infringed your rights, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

8. Changes to this notice
If our processing changes, for example when we start using a new provider, we update this notice and the date above.
